I have challenged myself to create one self-portrait a day for all of 2023 using any medium I want. I’m doing this to improve my portrait sketching and painting skills. The reason I chose myself as the subject is because I’m always with me. I’m not insulted when the portrait doesn’t flatter me. And I don’t get upset if it doesn’t look like me. So there is much less pressure to perform. Many of these portraits are good for a few laughs. Enjoy!
